Our company is a national and international leader in the production of natural and synthetic rubbers, PVC and silicones for machines in the textile, dyeing and knitting industries.
TexTape Srl was founded in 1981 in Varese, by the brainchild of Adalberto Colombo and two other partners.
Subsequently, in 1987, Mr Colombo became the sole director of the company, relocating its headquarters to the industrial area of Milano Nord in a 950 m2 factory. The company soon became a benchmark for all Italian textile machinery, specialising in the covering of textile machine cylinders for a wide range of applications from weaving to finishing.
In 1995, a new challenge began for the company, expanding to the rest of the world. Having received an incredible amount of interest at the ITMA95 trade fair in Milan, TexTape decided to set its sights on the foreign market as well, and within only three years managed to establish an efficient network of distributors, stretching from New Zealand to Chile.
The following year, the company experienced an exponential increase in its turnover to EUR 1.4 million and was required to register its trademark to avoid imitations.

At ITMA95 held in Milan, TexTape attracted great interest from the foreign audience. This is when the decision was made to export our products abroad.
1999EXPANSION AT CORMANO
In 1999, the company experienced such a significant increase in orders that it was forced to expand with the acquisition of a new 1,200 m2 warehouse. The new warehouse, located in the industrial area of Cormano, is in a strategic position to access all the motorways in northern Italy.

Thanks to the tremendous interest aroused by TexTape at the ITMA95 trade fair in Milan among foreign visitors, the company decided to invest more and more on exportation. In the space of three years, our company achieved its goals, exporting its products to all 5 continents.
From New Zealand to Chile. The Made in Italy quality of our products is currently recognised in the main international hubs of the textile industry through the sales support of 42 distribution agents.
In fact, our products are exported all over the world via leading international couriers who deliver to domestic and international customers in just three days from the time of order.
